Most people consider federal grant training to be a more advanced form of grant writing and management. We at Assel Grant Services do a lot of work with federal grants and we believe that federal grants share a lot of characteristics with significant foundation grants. That said, there are a lot of nuances unique to federal grants to learn. This professional development series is designed to help nonprofit professionals who have never written a federal grant be prepared to step through the federal grant pre-award and post-award process for the first time with confidence.

Each two-hour session is presented by credentialed grant professionals (GPCs) through the Grant Professional Certification Institute, Approved Trainers with the Grant Professionals Association, and experts with multiple federal grant departments.

Who Should Attend: This Federal Grant Development Bootcamp is designed to help nonprofit professionals who have never written a federal grant be prepared to step through the federal grant pre-award and post-award process for the first time with confidence.

Learning Objectives:
The participant will learn about:

• Identify and pursue suitable federal funding opportunities
• Build key relationships and navigate federal grant systems
• Develop compelling proposals with evidence-based programming
• Create compliant budgets and manage federal grants effectively
• Work with evaluators and potentially become a grant reviewer

This is a self-study course in which each participant is required to complete all elements of the training to receive any and all CPE credits and CE units.

These elements include:

• Watching all video content in full
• Completing all embedded engagement activities
• Completing all evaluation forms
• Completing the final assessment with a passing score of at least 70%
• Completing all course elements, including the assessment, within one year of the date of purchase or enrollment
