Navigate the post-award grant process with confidence!

When: Available On-Demand!

Cost: $150

Who Should Attend: Nonprofit professionals who want to be prepared to navigate the grant post-award process with confidence.

This session focuses on activities conducted by the federal government before they issue an award. Most people simply think about the solicitation that is posted and then their proposal application being reviewed, but there is so much more to it than that. There is the tying of legislation to strategic plans and those tying to the solicitation. There is the information you can learn before the solicitation officially comes out to give you and your organization a head start, and information your organization should consider about their ability to manage grants that will also be considered when you apply for funding.

Learning Objectives:

  • Awareness of the federal appropriation process
  • Identification of federal agencies and how to find their strategic plans
  • Awareness of how and where funding opportunities are announced
  • Identification of the components of the merit review process
  • Awareness of how federal agencies manage applicants with risk factors
  • Preparedness for the identification, application, and receipt of federal awards
